2025 Board of Directors Elections
Truliant's 2025 Board of Directors Election ends February 3, 2025.
Credit Unions are democratic, member-owned financial cooperatives. We are different from other financial institutions because every member gets the opportunity to vote for the volunteer Board of Directors. We offer three easy ways to vote – please take a few minutes right now and exercise your voting rights.
Voting will begin on January 2, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Ballots must be received by YesElections either through the mail, over the telephone voting system or through the internet no later than 11:59 p.m. EST, February 3, 2025.

NOTE: Members will need the last four digits of their Truliant Member Number to cast their vote(s). Member numbers can be found in Online Banking under "My Settings." In the Tru2Go® mobile app, select the "More" menu (bottom right), select the gear icon at the top of the screen, and tap "My Settings." The last four digits of your member number will be displayed.
Voting ends February 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Election results will be announced at Truliant's 2025 Annual Meeting.
Our 2025 Board of Directors Candidates:
James M. Wilson, Jr. (Incumbent)
CPA. Corporate Controller, Furnitureland South. Current Board Director & Certified Board Member (CCUB). Truliant volunteer since 2006. I serve to help member-owners improve their lives by ensuring they receive unbiased financial advice and services.
Barbara A. Demarest (Incumbent)
Barbara is a strategy consultant for universities, foundations and nonprofits. Prior to starting her firm in 2009, she had a 20-year career with the Center for Creative Leadership. Barbara holds the Credit Union Development Educator designation.
James T. Flythe, Jr. (Incumbent)
Board Chair since 2020, Chair of Exec Committee, Member of Governance, Compensation, Retirement, Strategic Planning and Gov’t Affairs committees. Employed at Duke Energy for 39 yrs. I would be honored to continue to serve the members of Truliant FCU.
