Truliant Names Langford Chief Operations Officer
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (May 24, 2018) – Truliant Federal Credit Union today announced the appointment of Anderson Langford to the role of Chief Operations Officer.
Langford will lead and develop the strategic vision for Truliant’s Member Financial Center network, consumer and business lending teams, and the Truliant Financial Advisors and Truliant At Work teams. He reports to Truliant President Todd Hall.
“Anderson brings a wealth of operational and financial management experience to Truliant. He is a proven leader who is uniquely qualified to drive strategic prioritization and accountability,” Hall said. “I have confidence that his ability and laser-focus on operational excellence will drive an enhanced experience for our members and add strength to our senior leadership team.”
Langford joins Truliant with more than two decades experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his appointment, he served as an examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Atlanta, Ga., helping improve risk management practices and operational efficiencies. While there, he served in several roles, including Supervisory Examiner, Loan Review Specialist, and Case Manager. He was also a liaison between management teams, regulatory agencies and the FDIC.
Prior to the FDIC, Langford held executive-level positions at financial institutions including Legacy State, Main Street, BB&T Corp., SouthTrust, and Bank of America. During his career, he has led lending divisions and branch networks, established a wholly-owned subsidiary, and held branch and regional manager positions.
"It is a tremendous pleasure to join Truliant. I look forward to working at an organization with Truliant’s compelling message and admirable core values,” Langford said. "I am incredibly energized to help lead the credit union in a meaningful way that deepens relationships with its members.”
Langford and his wife, Diane, recently relocated to Winston-Salem from Georgia. They have two children in college, Alexis and Graham. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Kennesaw State University.
