Truliant Names Gray Commercial Market Executive for Triad

Winston-Salem, N.C. (Sept. 3, 2019) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Robert Gray as its new commercial market executive serving business clients and leading the credit union’s new Triad Commercial Lending Office in Greensboro.

Gray will be responsible for growing and managing all business loan portfolios in the Triad region, comprising the greater Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point markets. Additionally, he will be instrumental in enhancing brand awareness for business lending and providing strategic direction to the Triad region’s commercial lending team.

“Robert is a known leader who brings a wealth of experience to Truliant’s commercial lending team. His passion for community is a tremendous asset,” said Anderson Langford, chief operations officer for Truliant. “As we approach the opening of our dedicated Triad Commercial Lending Office, Robert will be a major factor in expanding relationships with businesses in the Triad and surrounding areas.”

Gray will be located in the credit union’s new Triad Commercial Lending Office, set to open in the latter part of 2019. The 4,330-square-foot office space is located on the first floor of a three-story building at 600 Green Valley Road in Greensboro. The building is in the Friendly Shopping Center.

The commercial lending team will focus on building business relationships and meeting credit needs in commercial and owner-occupied real estate, operating lines of credit, debt refinancing and restructuring, and SBA 7a/USDA government guarantee programs.

The opening of this office represents an increased focus by Truliant on commercial lending in the Piedmont Triad. Along with several recently opened new locations in the Triad, the credit union is demonstrating to the business community and its member-owners that Truliant is ready and able to serve all of their financial needs.

Prior to joining Truliant, Gray was the Greensboro market president at HomeTrust Bank. He has worked as a commercial banker/manager in the Triad for several years and managed a variety of commercial relationships, as well as borrowing and cash management needs for real estate, commercial, industrial and municipal clients.

He is a board member of the Greensboro Academy School and Community Housing Solutions of Guilford County, and various committees of other local non-profit organizations. Gray can be reached via email at [email protected] or by phone at 336.293.2028.
