Truliant Promotes McCloud to Vice President of Human Resources

Precious McCloudWINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (October 5, 2021) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has promoted Precious Quire-McCloud to the role of vice president, human resources.

She will be responsible for employee relations, talent acquisition, payroll, and compensation and benefits. McCloud will focus on creating organizational value through engaged employees and integrating human resources initiatives into the strategic goals of the credit union. She reports to Sherri Thomas, Truliant’s chief administrative officer.

“Precious believes Truliant’s strength comes from its people and its culture,” Truliant’s Thomas said. “She has built a strong track record, calling on her innate ability to build trust and foster growth – while driving employee accountability. Her mix of skills and abilities naturally align with the focus areas of this new role.”

McCloud joined Truliant in 2013 as operations manager for the Member Contact Center. She was promoted in 2017 to vice president of member experience for the contact center. Her role expanded in 2018 to include consumer collections. McCloud has been instrumental in leading key organizational initiatives including partner support overflow, post charge-off recovery, a streamlined remarketing strategy and voice-channel member self-service and automation.

She is an executive committee member and board member for Forsyth Technical Community College and the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. In 2017, McCloud was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Business by the Triad Business Journal, and in 2018 she received a Rhythm of Triumph award for community-service excellence from 97.1/WQMG and the McDonald’s Corporation.

McCloud has a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a Master of Business Administration from High Point University. She is currently working on a professional doctoral degree in strategic leadership.
