Truliant Names Baker Vice President Facilities and Security
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (February 13, 2024) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Billy Baker to the new role of vice president of facilities and security.
Baker is responsible for security, management and oversight of general services, construction, facilities, and maintenance. He will oversee site maintenance and Truliant's real estate portfolio. He reports to Anderson Langford, Chief Credit Officer.
Baker brings a wealth of experience and expertise in corporate real estate and security to his new role.
Prior to joining Truliant, Baker spent more than two decades at Capital One in Richmond, Va., where he held various leadership positions. Most recently, he served as the Chief Security Officer, leading its Enterprise Safety and Security Team.
Also during his tenure at Capital One, Baker worked in corporate real estate, overseeing areas such as building operations, portfolio strategy, real estate transactions, workplace experience, and the Environmental Sustainability Office. Additionally, he led operational teams in the credit card division.
Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of the South – Sewanee. He has also earned multiple professional affiliations.
