Truliant Names Troutman Chief Operating Officer
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (October 10, 2024) — Truliant Federal Credit Union announced today that it has named industry veteran Michael Troutman to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
As COO, Troutman will be responsible for departments including its branch operations, mortgage, Truliant Financial Advisors, and Truliant Business Services. He will also contribute to developing and implementing Truliant’s financial objectives and execute its operational plans and strategic business goals. He reports to Todd Hall, Truliant's President and CEO.

Troutman was most recently Senior Vice President and Middle Market Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for U.S. Bank, focusing on the Carolinas and Virginia. His more than two decades-long financial industry career includes significant contributions to client relationship management, growing commercial lending, managing regional retail banking networks, generating new client bases, and leading teams.
He is actively involved with Breakthrough T1D of North Carolina, formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is a Patient Advocate Foundation committee member.
Troutman has an MBA from the William & Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business and a bachelor's degree in Management and Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also attended the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and BB&T University’s Management Development Program.
