Truliant Opening New Regional Office in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Truliant Federal Credit Union, a top 100 U.S. credit union, announced today that it will open a new regional office at Fairview Plaza in Charlotte’s SouthPark in the Summer of 2025.
Located at 5970 Fairview Road, Truliant’s Charlotte Regional Office will have naming rights on the front and back of the eight-story building. Based in Winston-Salem, Truliant will lease the 16,700-square-foot third floor, providing hybrid and in-office space, with an emphasis on commercial lending. Truliant has more than 100 employees in the Charlotte area. It has had a branch presence in Charlotte since 1987.
“We are excited to secure naming rights for this historic building in the SouthPark area. As one of the city’s largest business districts, this location is prominent, well-respected, and aligns with our culture and values,” said Todd Hall, president and CEO of Truliant. “SouthPark is a walkable, centrally located area that offers great convenience and visibility.”
“This office provides easy access to our commercial lending clients. Additionally, our employees will benefit from an enjoyable environment that continues to thrive.”
SouthPark is known for its office, retail and restaurants – it is a destination of boutiques and shopping centers, and a popular spot for cuisine and design-forward housing.
The new office underscores Truliant’s commitment to business lending in the Charlotte-metro area. It will be the primary hub for both the credit union’s Charlotte commercial and mortgage lending teams, facilitating market management, enhancing business connections, and supporting community interests. The focus on business relationships will target commercial and owner-occupied real estate, operating credit lines and SBA programs.
“As a primary hub for our business lending team, the new regional office begins an exciting chapter for Truliant in Charlotte and the surrounding region. It signals a commitment to our members, businesses, and long-standing and future partners,” said Judy Wishnek, senior vice president and market president in Charlotte. “Many people live, work, and shop in his multifaceted area, which is experiencing significant investment and development. We believe it is a great choice for our team and future.”
The office will provide regional operational support and include team members from commercial lending, training, SBA, IT, branch operations, community, and mortgage areas. No branch will be located in the building.
The focus on Charlotte in 2025 continues Truliant’s growth. Among its major initiatives in 2024, Truliant expanded its finance tools for businesses, joining with P1 Finance. The credit union boosted SBA loans, becoming the top U.S. credit union lender in the category. In 2024, Truliant also opened a new branch in Greer, the fourth of an Upstate S.C. expansion, and a new branch opened in Mauldin in January. A new branch in Boiling Springs, S.C. will open this month.
Charlotte is one of four concentrations of Truliant branch offices, including Upstate South Carolina, N.C.’s Piedmont Triad, and southwestern Virginia. Truliant has additional regional offices in Greenville, S.C., and Greensboro, N.C.
