Truliant Promotes McCloud to Senior Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (May 11, 2022) – Truliant Federal Credit Union announced today that it has promoted Precious Quire-McCloud to the role of senior vice president, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Previously, she was vice president, human resources.
In her new role, McCloud will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives that advance Truliant’s diversity management capacity and its presence as a financial institution of choice. She reports to Sherri Thomas, chief administrative officer.
“Precious has an impressive background and a record of bringing fresh ideas to each new leadership role she has held at Truliant,” Thomas said. “We will count on her to have an even greater impact by leading the charge for a more inclusive workplace and by enhancing our solutions to best meet the diverse needs of our members.”
In 2021, Truliant began more formally incorporating DEI initiatives as a pillar of corporate culture. Its program is built around four key focus areas: employees, the communities served by Truliant, supplier diversity, and addressing member needs. McCloud will support the evolution and growth of Truliant’s DEI plan.
McCloud joined Truliant in 2013 as operations manager for the Member Contact Center (MCC). She was promoted in 2017 to vice president of member experience for the contact center, and named vice president, human resources in 2021. Among her achievements, McCloud was instrumental in leading key organizational initiatives including partner support overflow, post charge-off recovery, a streamlined remarketing strategy and voice-channel member self-service and automation.
She is an executive committee member and board member for Forsyth Technical Community College and the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. In 2017, McCloud was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Business by Triad Business Journal, and in 2018 she received a Rhythm of Triumph award for community-service excellence from 97.1/WQMG and the McDonald’s Corporation. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
McCloud has a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a Master of Business Administration from High Point University. She is currently working on a professional doctoral degree in strategic leadership and completed the Executive Certificate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University in March.
