Truliant Promotes Parham to Vice President of Human Resources
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (February 6, 2024) – Truliant Federal Credit Union announced today the promotion of Angela Parham to the role of vice president of human resources.
Parham will be responsible for overseeing employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, and talent acquisition. She will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of Truliant’s people strategies. Parham will report directly to Sherri Thomas, Truliant's Chief Administrative Officer.
Parham joined Truliant in 2019 and most recently served as director of insurance services and strategic partnerships. She spearheaded the transformation of Truliant Insurance Services into a standalone insurance agency, fully staffed with Truliant employees.
Parham also oversaw the operation and expansion of products and services including Payment Protection, GAP insurance, Mechanical Repair Coverage, Balance Backup Plus, and Truliant Payment Solutions.
She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation, the highest professional certification within the human resource field. She has held senior level leadership roles in human resources prior to joining Truliant and her responsibilities have encompassed recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
Parham earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
